Normandy
The House in the Valley began as a natural fusion of the dreams and ideas of its owners, Jeroen and Lénaïc. Since they met in 2013, they’ve built a life between Belgium and France, shaped by a love for vintage interiors, creative reuse of forgotten objects and a deep connection with nature.
Their first project together was the sensitive, sustainable renovation of Jeroen’s grandparents’ home in Belgium, and a vintage interior design studio that grew organically from their shared aesthetic. The House in the Valley is the next chapter in that story.

Where the Valley Became Home!
During a holiday in Normandy, the idea emerged to create a new home, this time fully immersed in nature and peace. After a long search, they discovered a hidden gem in Mardilly, nestled in the Touques valley. The house had beautiful bones but needed a complete, careful revitalisation.
Through a thoughtful renovation, The House in the Valley was born: a space where authenticity is visible in every detail, and where timeless vintage and art deco pieces blend with playful colours and refined finishes. Ever since finding their house in the valley, Jeroen and Lénaïc have spent more and more time in this oasis of calm, working alongside friends and family to bring an ambitious dream to life and to share it with others.
